Golden Waterfall, Taiwan

Named for the apparent yellow hue that the water has from picking up copper and iron deposits as it passes through the old mines in Jinguashi. As our guide didn’t speak English, I had to find this info after-the-fact but it didn’t take away from its beauty.

I kind of figured that it had to be mineral deposits. If it was pollution they probably wouldn’t make it a tourist attraction (and our driver wouldn’t have pulled over and washed his face in it to try and explain how fresh it was).
